Activities:  Arrive at the international airport of Mumbai. In the arrival hall, a representative of our company holding a sign with your name will welcome you. You will then be transferred to the hotel to do the Check-In. We are committed to providing any assistance during your stay and throughout your journey.
After you’ve done the check in, you will start the exploration of Mumbai, the commercial port of India formerly known as the “City of Dreams”.
You will start your city trip by visiting Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, which is the main railway station of Mumbai and declared as a World Heritage monument by UNESCO. There after, you will visit the Daji Lad Museum, located in Byculla Leste, which is the oldest specialized museum of the city mainly created to save the treasures of the art and industry of the industrial era.
By late evening you will finalize this day of exploration with a tour along the Marin Drive. This road along the coastline of the city is one of the best ways to experience its amazing atmosphere and aside from that it provides a breathtaking view. Activities: After breakfast, you will go on an all day trip through the surroundings of Kovalam. You will visit the Padmanabhapuram Palace. At this stunning palace the rulers of Travancore controlled their kingdom for more than 400 years.
Then you will visit the Vivekanada memorial Rocha, dedicated to the founder of the Ramakrischna Mission. It was built between 1963 and 1970 and consists out of red an blue granite. You will also pass by the Kumari Amman Temple, which is dedicated to the virgin goddess Parvati. This beautiful building near the coast is home to a statue of the goddess whose diamond nose ring shined so much that it was visible from the sea.
Thereafter, you will see the mural, made in memory of Mahatma Gandhi. It is the most popular attraction in Kanyakumari and it was painted in the architectural style of the Orissa Temple during 1956. Known for its stunning Belgian chandeliers, beautiful Chinese tiles and many other accessories, this is one of the most popular attractions in Chochin. There after you will go to one of the most iconic sights of the fishermen’s town, the Chineses fishing nets. These nets are located close to the Mattancherry Palace, also known as the “Dutch Palace”.
In the evening, you will be attending a performance of the beautiful, colourful and fantastic Kathakali Drama dance. This masked dance was first performed 1500 years ago in Kerala and tells about the 9 emotions: serenity, wonder, kindness, love, anger, fear, despair, hatred and rage.
